Welcome to the Orlando Country Driving Range, the perfect place for those who don’t know how to play golf!

Open 7 days to the public or when events allow, the Orlando Driving Range offers various options for your group of friends and family to come socliaise, hit golf balls and enjoy lunch or sharing platters. With the café and bar working in conjunction with the driving range, you can eat and drink in your bay while hitting!

The Orlando Driving Range is suitable for everyone! Friends and family, young or old (no age restrictions) and a wonderful way to entertain clients.

Orlando Country Club

The Orlando Country Club is located on the outskirts of Palmerston North and well established as one of the region’s major event venues.

Renowned for hosting many corporate events, team building days and conferences, along with private weddings and functions the property also has a 9-hole golf course, driving range and café/brasserie that is host to both general public and our corporate clients.

Course Features

Designed and built by golf architect Tommy Cushnahan, this nine hole golf course is comprised mostly of par threes with some par fours.

All holes are designed and constructed to the high standards expected by the modern golfer.

The par threes will vary in length from around 100m to 175m with some surprises.

Great care has been taken to ensure the casual golfer will have fun around the golf course but those who seek to set or break course records will not find it a pushover.

With target greens on the full size driving range, golfers will be able to master all aspects of their short and long game.

Club Features

The Orlando Country Club is home to 'The Lake House' building containing the Lake House Café/Brasserie and bar. The covered full length driving range is accessible on the veranda and players are viewed by dining guests.

Many conferences private corporate events, functions and weddings take place at The Lake House throughout the year.
