Pleasant Point Golf Club
The Pleasant Point Club boast a picturesque course close to the township of Pleasant Point and bordered by lush farmland, council reserves, deer park and residential houses. The course is in South Canterbury, 20 minutes west of Timaru. The golfer friendly terrain makes it a comfortable walk for all ages and carts and buggies also navigate the course with ease. Our full time Green Keeper and a small army of volunteers ensure our course is always in great condition. Excellent 18 hole irrigation and drainage systems make for great year round golfing conditions for players of all abilities.
Competition Days:
Men: Saturday 12noon multi tee start.
Women: Wednesday 9.30 or 10.30am (depending on season) Saturday 8.30 or 9.30 am (depending on season) and 12noon.
9 Hole: Tuesday & Friday 12 noon start.(May be earlier in summer)
Thursdays: Open Stableford 11.30am start
Green fees $40

The Pleasant Point Golf course is divided in to two distinct areas. The first 9 holes is in the Pleasant Point Domain and is surrounded by mature trees. The current clubhouse was built, sheds and car park added. The second 9 has a delightful spring fed creek running through it which offers a unique challenge to golfers.
The club changed the greens to sand based greens a couple of years ago and this has enhanced the quality of them. The well maintained fairway irrigated helps to keep up the standard all year round.
